Fairford Cricket Club welcomes you to the very traditional and picturesque Cotswold setting at our glorious Park Street Ground part of the scenic Fairford Park Estate, which was founded by English philanthropist Ernest Cook; grandson of the famous Victorian entrepreneur Thomas Cook.

We have two Saturday league sides: One playing in Division Four of the
Gloucestershire County Cricket League (GCCL); the other competing in Division Two of the Cotswold District Cricket Association (CDCA) Cricket League. We also have a Friendly Xl playing on Sunday afternoons and a T20 XI who are current holders of the CDCA Lighthouse Trophy.

Boys and girls in our developing junior section are coached on different evenings, depending on age and gender (left click here for full details). Our teams play in the Cotswold District Junior Cricket Leagues. Under-9s and Under-11s play Sunday mornings, Under-13s play Thursday evenings and Under-15s play Tuesday evenings. We also have a Girls' Under-11 team whose match nights also vary. There are plenty of opportunities for teenagers to play for the adult teams.

The club achieved
Clubmark Accreditation in August 2011, proving we have met the benchmark for high quality community cricket set down by our governing body the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), who have also passed our Club Development Plan for 2016/2017. In February 2012 we were awarded ‘Focus Club’ status by the Gloucestershire Cricket Board (GCB) in recognition of our sound management and outstanding contribution to local schools and the community.

We have close relationships with
Bibury, Fairford, Hatherop, Kempsford, Meysey Hampton and Southrop C. of E. Primary Schools, some of whom receive coaching through the Chance to Shine Scheme, designed to bring and sustain cricket in state schools. Fairford Cricket Club managed the Cotswold East Chance to Shine Project from 2010 to 2015 and has the unique distinction of being the ‘Chance to Shine's National Project of the Year' twice: receiving recognition at the Annual Achievement Awards in 2012 and 2014.

Trophies and certificates at the club's
Junior Presentation Evening on 1st September 2017 were presented by club chairman Guy Bailey, who also presented the awards at our Adult Presentation Evening which took place at The Bull Hotel on Sunday, 1st October 2017.

The
Club's Constitution is open and equitable and we adhere to the principles and guidelines of the ECB Club Inclusion & Diversity Policy. This philosophy is reflected in our Equity Policy Statement and Codes of Conduct for Parents and Junior Members; Cricket Club Members and Guests. Membership and Match Fees are structured to encourage people from different age groups and varied backgrounds to join us and take advantage of our strong social membership and excellent bar facilities. We offer General Advice and Information for Parents and Junior Players and have Evacuation and Emergency Procedures in place, as well as a Map and Directions to Cirencester Hospital available should they ever be needed.

The club calendar is designed to show tournaments, functions, special events and fixtures taking place at our ground or connected with the club, whilst fixtures can also be found by left clicking on 'Matches' in the horizontal navigation above. The club celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2014 by having a week long festival of cricket.
